About me
Hi! I'm Kyano Peeters, a 21-year-old student in the third year of my College career at the IT-Factory, after 2 years of my study I chose the specialisation Application Development. Programming has become a significant interest for me, especially during my time at school. I find it both challenging and rewarding, and I'm excited about exploring more opportunities in the field. Besides my studies, I'm passionate about football and play for KFC Tongerlo, mainly in the reserve team. Occasionally, I get the opportunity to substitute in the first team. Additionally, I have a keen interest in electronic gadgets, always keeping up with the latest trends and advancements in technology. Internship
In the final year of the IT-Factory course, I did an internship at NTX in Geel for 3 months. This company provides personal customization, advice and proactive support in every part of IT, tailored to a wide range of companies, this can be from a soccer club to a school. Here the two divisions, software and infrastructure, go hand in hand to assist customers in the areas of software development, integration, cloud and IT infrastructure.
During this time, I did an internship with the COVR group which goes by the name NTX. COVR provides solid, efficient IT solutions that help scientific and medical societies manage their member networks and organize conferences. They also provide on-site support to help conferences and seminars run smoothly and improve the quality of the experience. During this time, I was allowed to work on the interfaces that technicians at conferences use on a daily basis. These in fact already existed, but were written in an outdated programming language called 4D, I was then allowed to convert these to C# together with my internship partner, Denzel Vromans. It was also the intention that we would develop both frontend and backend, in other words a full-stack application.
The following documents will give you a little more insight into my internship period, which will help you better understand both my assignment and my realization. Don't hesitate to take a look in those documents!
